Course Description

The SAP Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is SAP’s modern development model for building end-to-end enterprise applications and services in ABAP, primarily for SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Cloud, and ABAP Cloud environments. RAP provides a standardized and efficient approach to developing OData-based, RESTful, service-driven applications using ABAP.

RAP introduces a set of layered design principles that separate data modeling, business behavior, and service exposure, allowing developers to follow clean-core and cloud-ready architectures. It is based on Core Data Services (CDS) for data models and behavior definitions for defining business logic in a declarative way.
